A March 2024 report shows modest improvement in the shortage of affordable rental units available to the lowest income Ohioans over the past year, however, Columbus has the worst ratio of all major Ohio cities. Columbus has 26 affordable units available per every 100 extremely low income renters, while Cleveland has 38 and Cincinnati has 41.
